Privacy policy
Short version: we only collect an email address, only if you give it to us, and only use it for what we said we would.
Who we are
The USDA ADU Loan Guide is an independent educational website. We are not affiliated with USDA, we are not a lender, and we don't take loan applications.
What we collect
First name and email address. If you sign up to be notified when lenders start offering USDA ADU loans, we collect the first name and email address you enter. If you register as a professional on our agents and loan officers page, we also collect the role you select. If you use our contact form, we collect your email, the topic you choose and your message.
What we don't collect. We do not ask for or collect your phone number, income, credit, Social Security number or any loan details.
Basic technical data. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and browser type, to run and secure the site.
How we use it
- To send you a short note when lenders start offering USDA ADU loans, or when there's a significant update on the rule.
- For professionals who register, to contact you about future partnerships.
- For contact form messages, to reply to you and correct the guide when needed.
We do not sell, rent or share your name or email address with lenders, agents or anyone else.
How forms are processed
Our email signup form is provided by Zuops, which stores signups on our behalf. Our contact and professional registration forms are processed by our website host, Netlify. Each provider's handling of that data is covered by its own privacy policy.
Your choices
Every email we send includes a way to reply. Reply to any message to unsubscribe or to ask us to delete your email address, and we'll remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, for example if we add a lending partner in the future, we'll update this page and the date below before collecting anything new.
